Resort Description

Woodland Lakes is a private gated community. Offering camping lots along with year round residential homes on 3,500 acres. Open all year round and there are about 200 families that live here on a permanent basis. It is in the Bourbon School District and the bus picks them up and drops them off right at the front gate. There are 12 lakes, 11 of which are stocked with catfish, bass and crappie, for excellent fishing, a community pool, boating, community parks, picnic areas along with lots of beautiful scenery. Also allows ATV's, golf carts, dune buggies, etc. Crystal lake (shown to the left)is just one of the many beautiful lakes, it has a sand beach, that is excellent for Volleyball, Horse Shoes, Washers, or just getting that awesome summer tan. Crystal Lake is excellent for boating, fishing, tubing, water skiing, jet skiing it also has a swimming area along the beach.
